Wet, windy weather for Northome Crazy Daze, Rhubarb Rumble

Despite uncooperative weather, Northome’s annual Crazy Daze drew many sidewalk merchants, shoppers and visitors to downtown Northome. Crazy Daze was held June 13 in conjunction with the second annual Rhubarb Rumble held that evening at the Koochiching County Fairgrounds.

Library summer children’s program is in full swing with Kristy Pink as leader. Children should come to the library Tuesdays from 1-2:30 p.m. for fun activities. The library, temporarily located in the Northome VFW building, is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursdays from noon-6 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m.-noon.
